Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Rwanda’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Olivier Nduhungirehe, have held talks on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomatic Forum, reaffirming their commitment to deepen bilateral cooperation.
According to the discussions, the two ministers reviewed current efforts to strengthen the traditionally friendly relations between Russia and Rwanda, with particular attention to expanding cooperation in trade, the economy, and humanitarian affairs.
The talks also covered collaboration in the peaceful use of nuclear energy, education, and personnel training, reflecting both countries’ interest in broadening practical partnerships.
The ministers further expressed their shared readiness to continue working together on international issues, including engagement at the United Nations and other multilateral platforms, to help address global and regional challenges.
The meeting comes as Rwanda and Russia continue to explore wider diplomatic and economic cooperation through regular high-level engagement.
