Rwanda’s capital will host the Africa CEO Forum on May 14-15, bringing together six sitting heads of state, senior executives, and investors for one of the continent’s biggest gatherings of political and business leaders, organizers said.
The meeting comes just days after Nairobi hosts the inaugural Africa Forward Summit on May 11-12, shifting attention to Kigali for what organizers describe as a major platform for shaping Africa’s economic agenda.
Rwandan President Paul Kagame, who is hosting the forum, is expected to welcome Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Gabon’s Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema, Mozambique’s Daniel Chapo, Mauritania’s Mohamed Cheikh Ould El Ghazouani, and Guinea’s Mamadi Doumbouya.
Organizers say the forum will focus on infrastructure, large-scale projects, pan-African capitalism, productivity, industrial self-reliance, and faster implementation of the African Continental Free Trade Area, or AfCFTA.

They say the event will gather about 2,000 African and global decision-makers, with discussions centered on how the private sector can drive growth and investment across the continent.
The forum is being billed as a key meeting point for leaders seeking to position Africa’s private sector as a central engine of economic transformation.
