Nigerian Grammy Award-winning artist Burna Boy will headline the halftime show at the National Football League’s (NFL) first regular-season game in France, when the Pittsburgh Steelers face the New Orleans Saints in Paris on October 25.
The performance will take place at Stade de France, where the game is scheduled to kick off at 2:30 p.m. local time. The Paris show is part of a record seven halftime performances planned across the NFL’s 2026 international games.
Burna Boy, one of Africa’s most internationally recognised music artists, has played a significant role in bringing Nigerian Afro-fusion to audiences around the world. The artist has received 13 Grammy nominations and became the first African artist to headline a performance at Stade de France in April 2025.
“Paris gave me one of the biggest nights of my career, and to walk back into Stade de France for a moment like this means everything,” Burna Boy said in a statement released by the NFL.
The 2026 NFL Paris Game, presented by American Express, will be the first regular-season NFL game played in France. It is being staged in partnership with GL events and with support from France’s Ministry of Sports.
The NFL has scheduled international regular-season games across seven countries and four continents during the 2026 season, making it the league’s largest international programme to date.
Other previously announced halftime performers include the Jonas Brothers in Melbourne, Pedro Sampaio and Ricky Martin in Rio de Janeiro, Ayra Starr in London, Cage The Elephant in Munich and The Warning in Mexico City.
The NFL has played 62 regular-season games outside the United States to date, with international games previously held in cities including London, Berlin, Munich, Frankfurt, Madrid, Dublin, São Paulo, Mexico City and Toronto. The 2026 international schedule adds Melbourne, Paris and Rio de Janeiro to the league’s expanding international programme.
Burna Boy’s halftime performance will be broadcast live and free-to-air in France on France Télévisions and on beIN Sports, while L’Équipe will broadcast the game later that evening.
The NFL says further entertainment and fan activities surrounding the Paris game will be announced ahead of the event.
